Telecom to be Prosecuted

The official statement says:

"The Commission has decided to prosecute Telecom and Xtra for alleged breaches of the Fair Trading Act in that the companies allegedly engaged in conduct that was liable to mislead the public as to the characteristics of services and made false or misleading representations about the performance characteristics of the Go Large plan"

Which is right on the money if you ask me. Every tech savvy person new that their network could not handle the traffic that would be forced upon it and its equipment... and it didn't. How did Telecom think they could get away with this?

However the maximum they can get fined is $200,000! Are you kidding me? I mean honestly, thats a slap on the wrist for a company like Telecom. Theresa probably has a larger credit limit than that! Thats not even a quarter of her salary! And the new CEO is earning more than her! Ridiculous if you ask me.
